Grand Central Station, NY - Mamiya RB67 and Fuji Astia 100
We used to have a working rice mill in the Philippines back in the day. Now, this thing is just sitting eating dust. It no longer works anymore and upkeep of this is so expensive. This mill is huge and loud but it feeds tons of people.

Shot with Mamiya RB67 and Kodak Ektachrome 400.
I have taken so many photos of New York City with my medium format camera and this is the first time I paid attention to the boxes of exposed transperancy films. I didn't know that I have taken some interesting shots from back then. This blurry photo of the Times Square is kinda interesting. It reminds me of how busy this place was and how the glow of the Jumbotrons and neons paints the street with red, yellow and blue lights.
Shot in 2005 with a Mamiya RB67 and Kodak 400TX Film.

I believed I shot this in 2002 with a Kodak EliteChrome 200 Film with a Nikon 8008s SLR in Globe, Arizona. I just loved this shot because the color is so saturated and vivid. I really missed shooting in film because you never know how your photos will come out except the part that the developing of the Transperancy films are so expensive. But they are all worth it though. Nothing can replace the color of the slide films.
Took this photo three years ago with a Mamiya RB67 using Kodak Tri-X Film.
I found this featured in Gizmodo the other day and I tried to see if it works on my iPhone. Luckily, my phone is Jailbroken and I'm able to install this App. Well, it really does work. You can use this while on location and do some vid capture. The videos are recorded not on your phone but on the Qik server and it is being shown live while you were capturing. As long as your iPhone is Jailbroken and your phone is either 3G or have a WiFi connection, you are good to go. Here's how my video test looks.
President Levy Mwanawasa of Zambia died this morning (August 19th) in a French hospital after suffering from a stroke.
At last, the upgrade is now completed. After tweaking and re-uploading all the missing files, my blog is 98% complete. Thanks to Sarah from SixApart for her help. Can I say again that I really love the new templates. The new system is really fast and and very streamlined. I have some minor issues with the banner images but the codes are all new to me so I'm still looking for the codes and finding ways how to tweak it. Let me know how you guys like it.
Can you imagine editing or retouching your video like Photoshop. No need to use After Effects or Shake.
For some of us that edit videos or films, this can make our job so much easier.

Well, I'm back to blogoshphere again. It has been quite awhile since I blog in here. I actully took some time off from writing and now, I am back and ready to express my thoughts and whatever is happening out there. I promise that I will be more faithful and find stuff to blog. I will start posting more photos in here. I spent two weeks updating this blog and built the archives manually instead of doing it from the backup and upgraded the whole system to MT4. I'm really liking this new upgrade. Everything looks clean and it flows nicely. Let me know what you think and tell me If I need to remove or add something.
